Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with BuildEye AI. This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund for a paid premium subscription. All customer payments are processed securely by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, subscription invoicing, and refund transactions on our behalf.

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your subscription for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date. This guarantee applies to all paid plans (Start, Pro, Business) on their first payment cycle only.

To prevent system abuse, the 14-day money-back guarantee is valid only if you have not substantially exhausted your plan's monthly AI photo analysis quota (e.g., if you have processed fewer than 20% of the photos allowed in your tier).

2. EU / EEA Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing within the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you possess a statutory right to withdraw from digital service contracts within 14 days of the initial purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, without providing any justification.

Please note: If you explicitly request the immediate execution of the service and actively utilize the system (e.g., executing multiple automated AI building analyses and exporting reports) during this 14-day window, you acknowledge that you may waive your absolute right of withdrawal once digital content delivery has begun. We evaluate these cases fairly and in accordance with local consumer protection guidelines.

3. Subscription Renewal Charges

Refunds are generally not available for automatic subscription renewals. If you do not intend to renew your subscription for the following month, please ensure you cancel your tier from your account profile settings prior to your renewal billing date.

As an explicit exception, if a automatic renewal charge occurs after you have already successfully submitted a cancellation request via the application UI (e.g., due to an active technical integration error), we will credit and refund the erroneous charge in full. Please report such technical discrepancies to us within 7 days of the transaction.

4. Free Plan Context

The Free tier incurs no initial or recurring monetary charges; therefore, no refund rules or procedures apply to Free accounts.

5. Service Degradation and Technical Failures

If BuildEye AI experiences catastrophic, verified platform downtime or a critical system infrastructure failure that entirely prevents you from accessing your paid feature sets for an extended period, you may contact our support desk to request a proportional platform credit or a partial refund. Every infrastructure issue is evaluated individually by our engineering and support team.

6. Transaction Processing Timelines

Once a refund request is authorized and triggered in our system, Paddle executes the financial transaction back to the source account. Funds typically reappear on your payment statement within 5–10 business days, depending on the internal processes of your local bank or credit card issuer.
